New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Update Confirmed for Next Week

New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet updates are coming next week, which will bring bug fixes and coincide with the release of long-awaited game features. The news comes amid a busy month for Nintendo fans, who have plenty of Pokemon Crimson and Violet Terra Raids to choose from, as well as the long-awaited release of The Legend of Zelda : Kingdom Tears. To pass their time.

Trainers will face two grueling raids at the same time before the next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet update is released. Between a 7-star Tera raid on Chesnaught the Unrivaled and two 5-star raids on Iron Treads and Great Tusk, Pokemon trainers looking for a challenge will have their fill this weekend.

According to Serebii.net, the next update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will fix some issues that, like the version 1.3.0 update, adversely affected certain aspects of the game. In this case, a bug affected the Pokemon National Championship qualifiers in Japan and South Korea, as well as the entire Pokemon World Championship. The bug prevents players from viewing rankings, quickly requesting rematch against the same opponent, and being unable to exit the menu between battles. However, the fix should arrive before the repeat of these qualifiers begins next week (starting May 28).

However, the timing of this update coincides with another feature arriving next week, as the long-awaited Pokemon Scarlet and Violet update arrives in Pokemon Home on May 24. With some exceptions, products available in previous generations will make their way to the Paldea region. Additionally, certain past Pokmon that can be captured in Paldea, such as Pikachu and Eevee, can be sent to the game as long as they only have moves and abilities available in the past, such as Pokmon Sword and Shield. Additionally, trainers who link their Pokemon Scarlet and Violet save files to Pokemon Home will receive Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxley and their respective hidden abilities once both updates arrive.

The arrival of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Compatible Pokemon Home should bring quite a change to the competitive scene, as Pokemon such as Hisuian Zoroark and Ursaluna from Pokemon Legends: Arceus are set to arrive in Paldea in the coming days. Between that and the upcoming DLC later this year, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will soon have quite a few new additions to their rosters.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are now available for Nintendo Switch.
